I created the logo and visual layout design for Take the Nerd Out, a pop culture podcast hosted by content creators and interviewers John Marco (@johnmarcoasks) and Shimmer (@shimmerwali). Known for their interviews at Comic Cons, conventions, and pop culture events, the hosts created the podcast as a space to discuss anime, superheroes, entertainment, and trending pop culture news.
My role focused on developing a recognizable brand identity and cohesive visual direction that reflects the energetic, playful, and nerd-culture-inspired personality of the podcast. The logo and supporting layouts were designed with digital content in mind, creating a consistent look that could translate across YouTube, TikTok, and social media while giving Take the Nerd Out its own distinct identity.
TWITCH COMMISSIONS
Emotes
This was a commission I worked on for a client's twitch emotes. Their theme was 'Naruto' - and they wanted to have a character based off of them in a 'Naruto'- Anime style type of artwork. I was able to come up with a character design and once we got the character design for my client finalized I went ahead and worked with the sticker ideas they had in mind.

This commission was approached to me by a streamer- I was able to come up with an aesthetic concept and character design based on her theme and streaming atmosphere. I used a bubbly / girly theme for these stickers that stuck to the purple themes of the streamers banner and overall aesthetic.
Style Challenge Commissions
These style challenge commissions capture the style of different cartoon styles using references from what my commissioners have provided. I am able to use references of the people that the commissioners provide me with and recreate them into the style of their favorite tv shows and movies.
I enjoy this character design technique the most because I am able to learn a lot about my commissioners and help them visualize and recreate their loved ones or even themselves in the form of their favorite characters.

Studio Ghibli Style Remake
I had first done the Studio Ghibli style remake with an original commission for the well-known tik-toker @Paharikawa & @AslanPahari... It had been later posted on his tik tok page and since then I was able to receive commissions on the famous Studio Ghibli style remake. Studio Ghibli has always been one of my favorite studios growing up, and I have always been inspired by the art work and animation. I enjoy making the Studio Ghibli style remakes because they give me a chance to learn about my commissioners and connect with them and their love for Studio Ghibli films as well.
