Creative Artist
Hey, I’m Harisa!
Artist. Illustrator. Animator. Storyteller. Professional over-thinker of tiny creative details.
I’m a multidisciplinary artist and creative content creator who loves turning ideas into things people actually want to stop and look at.
My world revolves around illustration, character design, 2D/3D animation, social media content, and visual storytelling. I love taking an idea — even a messy “I don't really know what I want, but I’ll know it when I see it” idea — and turning it into something fun, eye-catching, and memorable.
So... why art?
I’ve been obsessed with animated movies and drawing characters for as long as I can remember. I was always curious about how artists could take a bunch of drawings and somehow make you laugh, cry, fall in love with a character, or completely disappear into another world.
Then came Spirited Away.
Hayao Miyazaki’s incredible world-building completely hooked me. I wanted to know how the characters came to life, how the environments felt so alive, and how a drawing could tell a story without needing a single word.
And, well... I never really stopped asking those questions.
That curiosity eventually turned into a love for animation, illustration, character design, and storytelling — and now I get to use those skills to create content and visuals for the digital world.
What I love creating
I’m especially drawn to projects that let me mix art + storytelling + personality.
That can mean:
🎨 Illustrations & visual concepts
👾 Character design
🎬 2D & 3D animation
📱 Social media content
✨ Creative campaigns
🎮 Gaming & entertainment content
🐾 Fun, personality-driven brand visuals
🎥 Short-form video & visual storytelling
For me, good content isn't just about making something pretty.
It needs personality.
It needs to make someone pause their scroll, smile, feel curious, remember a brand, or think, “Okay... that's actually cool.”
A little bit of Harisa outside of art
I’m a huge animal lover, which probably explains why I spent years working with animals before fully diving into the creative world. I worked as a kennel technician for over four years and have experience working in a veterinary environment.
I also studied oceanography in high school because apparently choosing one interest was never really my thing.
Then there’s gaming.
Give me Call of Duty, Fortnite, GTA V, or Apex Legends and suddenly “just one game” becomes several hours.
Gaming has also influenced the way I think creatively — from character development and world-building to visual design and storytelling.
And when I’m not creating, I love traveling and collecting inspiration from everywhere I go. I’ve lived across several parts of the U.S. and have traveled to places including the UAE, India, China, Qatar, Turkey, Oman, Japan, and Canada.
Every place, culture, person, and experience adds something new to the creative toolbox.
Choosing the creative path
Coming from an Asian family where medicine and engineering were the more traditional career paths, choosing art wasn't always the easiest conversation.
But I decided that if I was going to spend my life doing something, I wanted it to be something I genuinely loved.
So I chose the creative path.
And now, one of my biggest goals is to build my own creative studio, create original worlds, and eventually produce and direct my own animated films.
Until then, I’m here creating, experimenting, learning, collaborating, and probably opening way too many tabs while working on my next idea.
What I believe
Art should make you feel something.
A great character should have personality.
A great animation should make you want to watch it again.
A great piece of content should make you stop scrolling.
And a great brand should feel like something you want to be part of.
That’s the kind of creative work I want to make.
Let's make something people remember.
